Rihanna has disclosed on her blog that she will be launching her fashion label in collaboration with British high street brand, River Island.
Riri wrote on her blog: “I’ve been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me.”
“I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I’m looking forward to working with them and creating something really special,” Riri added.
The collection is expected to debut in the spring of 2013 and if accomplished will go down as the first of the high street brand to come from a celebrity.
However, Riri seems to be exploring her fashion side as her fashion show, Styled To Rock is set to debut next month on Sky. The show will give upcoming designers a platform to design for famous celebrities while getting juged by a panel which includes Riri herself.
This young woman is creating an empire for herself. Way to go Riri.
